Wanderlust Week 1

Week One with Kasia Avery included creating a collaged background with text as a feature and then colouring with gelatos, painting over it with white gesso, before scratching out your initials in the wet gesso. Topped off with stamping, stenciling and my initials stamped in black using the ever trusty Heidi Swapp foam stamps.

Wasn’t sure if I liked my finished page, so I revisted it this week and added some pastels to give it a bit of colour back. Still struggling with my oversize initials that I stamped on, but overall feel happier with the finished result than from before (updated 26 March)
