In my happy place, scrapping at the Pretty Rustic Weekend in Morrinsville with Carol, Lisa and Rona.
This was my 2nd Pretty Rustic weekend and I was not disappointed. It is run by Jo, Aly and Sammy from Imagine If – a lovely family team from the Waikato.
The theme of the weekend was botanicals, and they did not disappoint with some fantastic papers from their new label Three Quarter Designs. We spent 2 mornings creating pieces for our layouts and then the afternoons putting it all together.
I managed to completed 6 pages out of the 20 we had available to do! But, I am happy with that, as I tend to get just a little distracted by what everyone else is doing and talking way too much. Also, this year I took a few photos with me, so that I could tailor-make the pages to suit my photos. Got some great ideas, including using angelina fibres with an iron.
